Greek Getaway '05


Greek Getaway was a great success this year. The 25 plus Greeks that joined us at Wrightsville Beach all left rested, renewed and recharged - a true Getaway. 80 degree weather and just a beautiful day certainly added to the enjoyment.

Greek Getaway was an awesome time because I got to know everyone in such a comfortable setting. Although I knew only a select few, everyone was eager to make me feel like part of the group, whether it be throwing the frisbee or asking me about classes, and this hospitality and comfort made the weekend truly great. Without this weekend and these people that I met, I may have never known about Greek Impact or the great people involved in it. I plan on attending many Greek Impact events in the future, and this weekend is to credit for my new involvement."
