Who We Are
Greek IMPACT is a ministry offered to the fraternity and sorority students at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. We hope to provide Greek students a fresh perspective of spirituality and seek to answer the question "Can my faith and fraternity or sorority life coexist?"
Can Your Faith Co-Exist with Fraternity and Sorority Life?
Yes! We believe so. Greek IMPACT is a place where Greeks are encouraged by each other and by the truth of God in their lives. We realize that Greek students face unique struggles, temptations and college experiences. Greek IMPACT is a place to address these things and be honest about where we are in our spiritual journeys. By doing this, we believe that lives will be changed and that God will do great things in the Greek system.
Do I have to be a Christian to check out Greek IMPACT? No, absolutely not. The only requirement to come to Greek IMPACT is that you are Greek and want to know more about what being a Christian means in relation to your college experience.
In 2007 our goal is to create environments where Greek students at Carolina can connect with or re-engage their faith in the midst of their Greek experience. We believe our focus on this purpose as well as a re-alignment of our Structures will create ideal opportunities for Greeks to truly be 100% Greek and 100% Christian. |
