Campus Confidential

This year I have the honor of consulting Greek students and undergraduate InterVarsity staff at five other campuses in North Carolina and Virginia. Each campus is at a different stage of ministry growth and development. Click on the school below for an update on what is going on at each campus. And please be in prayer for the Greek students at these schools who are trying to start ministry within their fraternity, sorority, or Greek system at large with very little 'adult supervision'!

Virginia Tech University

Virginia Tech was an assigned campus of mine this Fall, although I will admit I have done very little groundwork. I do know that they have a very large greek system, with much potential for ministry. We currently have one student on campus who is excited about ministry.

Pray for: Our one Greek contact on that campus; Wes as he works to develop ministry at Tech, and my communication with him; Greeks to come out of the wordwork and be interested in faith on campus.

“Greek IMPACT has helped me realize what is really important in the Greek system has led to a better balance to my college life.”
- Charles Askew, sophomore Phi Delta Theta

Pray for the large group of Greek IMPACT seniors who graduated last month and are now transitioning into the professional world.

For Krystal Bridges as she takes over the day-to-day campus work at Chapel Hill.

Dave as he transitions to his new position in ministry.

That Gods work in the Greek system would grow even this summer at Washington & Lee, UNC-Wilmington, UNC-Charlotte, Delaware, Elon and Wake Forest.

Megan McHenry and several other UNC Greeks who will serve Young Life in Africa this August.

Support raising as my budget will grow nearly $20,000 in 2008-2009.

Kim and Dave as we close on our first home.
